The accomodation is located at the rear of historic Gowrie House that dates back to 1856.
Gowrie Guest House is located just a short walk from Port Albert's harbour with spectacular views of Wilsons Promontory and the surrounding waterways.
Dine on the catch of the day at Wildfish Restaurant or enjoy a scrumptious breakfast , lunch or coffee at the Port Albert Cafe and Wine Bar which is just a few doors down.
Walk across the road to Gippsland Regional Maritime Museum and learn about the history of Port Albert or just take a stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy the water views that make Port Albert so special.

In the common area there is two comfortable couches , TV , DVD , refrigerator and tea / coffee making facilities.

Yarram Golf Course is 10 minutes away and rated in the top ten volunteer managed clubs in Australia.
Walk across the road to Gippsland Regional Maritime Museum and learn about the history of Port Albert.
Occurs on the third Sunday of each month in the town hall.

Historic fishing town, with boat hire and water craft activities available. Tours to near by islands are also on offer.
The famous 90 mile beach, including Woodside Beach, is a 20 minute drive from the guest house. Tarra Bulga National Park is a pristine rain forest and is a 30 minute drive away. Agnus Falls and Toora Windfarm are just a pleasent drive heading towards Foster. Or talk a stroll through the streets of Yarram to check out the "Heesco"Murals.
